From this story IDCI could learn to work together to make a better community. We could clean up some parks help a family in need and improve society, if we work together.

#19 Monarch Park.

IDCI is alot like Monarch Park because we do alot of raising money for Siara Leon. The only difference is that Monarch Park is way more into it. They like raising money for people in need and they want to help. IDCI dont have that drive. We need to get more excited and get pumped for helping others. We can do this by advertising how we need to help more and getting the teachers more involved.

#18 Grade 8 tours!

I was fun to see the knew ninners. Some of them were really annoying but im sure they will get better when they come next year.... i hope. My group of kids were not that bad they were pretty good kids... for the most part. It was just like i remembered it when i was in grade 8. The only thing that could have been better was the seporation of the groups. It was kind of disorganized when it came to counting the kids.

#17. Belonging

I feel most connected to my group of friends. We get along well and have alot of things in common. I can rely on them to have my back and keep my secrets. I can trust that they will be there when i need them and i will always be there for them. They are fun and lovely to be with. We always have a good time and i love them all to death!

#16 Lions and Tigers and Zebras.. Oh MY!!

WE can apply the Zebras techniques to our lives by keeping the people we love close to us. Even keeping our enimies close to us is a good idea because we may need there help one day. It is a good idea to stick together so you will always be strong, because when you are alone you are weak.

#15 Safe Schools

I think it is important for the school to have safe schools programs and plays. They help a little bit but not to the full extent. I think the sea of pink day helps alot and it really speaks out. It gets people involved and shows people that it doesnt matter what you wear it shouldnt reflect who you are as a person.

# 13 Discrimination

I have felt treated unfairly and been laughed at. I think everone has been made fun of at one point in there life. I learned that its something you cant run from and you cant let what people say bug you. I learned that people only make fun of you becuase they are scared that I am pretty in my own ways. No matter what someone says it cant get me down because i know i am stronger than they bully is.

# 12 Stopped..

That is very sad that only 10% of people stopped to help this man that was obviously suffering. Everyone should have been conserned enough to stop to make sure he was okay. It is just sad that people now a days are to selfish to even take a second of there time to stop and help someone else. People should be more kind to others and not so selfish.

#11 world Values

The results do not surprise me because people in America and North America can have everything they want but they will still not be happy no matter what they have. People in poor countries are happy with less because they dont need anything but there family to be happy. When I was in Costa Rica they said they were one of the happiest country in the world and as you look around you can tell that they dont have much, but they appreciate what they have more than we do.

# 10 Happiness!

Happiness to me is enjoying being around the people i am around and loving where i am in life. Happiness is being able to trust your friends and family and being loved by all of them!

#8 Blood Dimond

Blood Dimond was a very powerful movie. It has alot of meaning in it but unfortanitly people will watch this and knowing what is going on in Africa they will still buy dimonds.
People only think about themselves when they see something they want to buy. No matter what proof you show people they will feel bad for a bit but they will do nothing about it. it is sad but true....

#7 Idea!

Sell White tees at lunch the day before and the next day everyone wheres there shirts with one aproptiate and creative word on it. It could be something that expresses how you are feeling or something you are thinking about.
Example. If i missed summer i would right sunshine on my shirt with a sun! :)

#6 Mark's Story

Mark's story is more impressive then Craigs because Craig saw a picture and read and article and then wanted to take action but Mark went through pain and heart break. He stood by someones side while they died knowing Mark could not do anything whitch is hard. Mark Wanted to run away but he couldnt he had to help them. Mark was a regular teen thinking about himself and his future but one trip he was pressured into going on changed his life.

#5 Craigs Story

I think Craig was a very brave kid for wanting to do something about what he saw in the paper and standing infront of his class to ask if anyone would help him. Craig has come a long way and he has done alot of good for a lot of people. WAY TO GO CRAIG!

#4 The Power of Half

I think the Girl had a big heart and she did a very good thing by donating all that money. I think her family was kind of preshured into doing it because she kept bugging them but they had lots of money anyways so it didnt really affect them.

#3 Me Leadership Quote

My quote was "the time is always right to do what is right." I wrote it on a watch because the quote is talking about time. I chose this quote because it is short and sweet and it has alot of meaning.

#2 Possitive Word Poster

My word was Teamwork. We pick that word because we are working together to make the poster so we should choose the word teamwork! I worked with Vanessa and Trent. We thought of things that reminded us of team work and drew a picture of it. We used hands working together and some sports teams that work well together to be victorious. We used our Bombers sign because our sports teams use alot of teamwork to bring home the win :)

#1 Leadership and I!

In leadership class i hope to become  better leader and less shy. I would like to become a less independent person and work with new people :) I expect that i will have a lot of fun in this class and i have to fears about leadership.
